Create a Chat Agent

Enable text-based, AI-powered conversations on your platform. With voicei.ai, you can quickly set up a chat agent—either from scratch or by converting an existing voice agent—with just a few clicks.

Getting Started

1) Creating a New Chat Agent

  1. Navigate to the Agents section of your voicei.ai dashboard.

     
  2. Click “Create Agent”.

     
  3.  “Select Template” as the agent type.

     
  4. Configure your agent's settings, conversation prompts, or flow logic.

 

 

 

 

 

2) Write Your Prompt

Add a prompt that tells the agent what it should do.

 

2. You can also click “Generate AI” to get help creating a professional prompt tailored to your business.

3) What’s Next?

After setting up your chat agent, you can:

  • Start a chat session to test and interact with it.

     
  • Generate responses using the chat completion feature.

     

4) Final Step: Publish & Connect a Phone Number

  1. When you’re ready, click “Publish” on your agent.

     
  2. Select or purchase a phone number.
  3. Assign the number to your published agent.

     

 Now your chat agent is fully live and ready to receive calls and interact with users.
